Complete redesign of the DC Comics character "The Joker," for an assignment in my Production Design class last year. It's the front page image for my website, edcomics.com, but I felt it was time to upload it to a gallery before I give my site its much-needed makeover.Pencil sketch and colored in Painter 7... My task was to redesign the Joker. It has a giant grin, is colored purple, and has green hair. I went for a radical redesign, and the instructor said he'd never seen it done that way before, and said the piece was "almost professional."
