Description
"Draw a motorcycle" I said, "it'll be fun" I said.It was an absolutely long headache not helped that I couldn't find any decent photos of what I was drawing (my mechanical knowledge only extendes to four-wheeled transport) and no two bikes are the same.
More annoyingly, this was for my dear old Dad, who loves motorcycles and was looking at Indians at the time, but isn't fond of big, hairy wolf-women.
Hay-ho, carry on as you will...
Drawn using brush pens (for her) and acrylic paint for the background. Strong ale and Metal to get through it.

I intended to commercialize on this one but it was a total flop and its something of an embarrassment. There's usually a minimum to print stuff and I can't really justify the costs.
Quite a shame as I put a lot of time and effort into this.

Incredible artwork. The amount of detail you were able to draw on the motorcycle itself is very impressive. Love the look of the female werewolf's fur and how its ripping through the clothing. You're a good artist. Love your artwork style

Thank you very much! I had to buy a whole new pack of pens for this job in case my old ones ran out halfway through: each piece was done individually and it took bloody ages (over a 3 month period).
I was hoping to commercialize on this one but it was a total flop and plans for another have been shelved unless I can come up with the right formula.
That's how things go I suppose!

Very awesome job on the Indian motorcycle and the werewolf rider. Also I really like the background.

Thank you, unfortunately it wasn't very well received and I'm quite embarrassed by the whole thing. Certainly won't be doing another!

Rawr!
To both! Though I quite honestly prefer the older Chiefs, with that iconic leaf spring on front. It is pure magic.
A bit sad about the pants, they look like something I'd wear and now they're ruined v_v
As always, glorious work, Eddy! Sorry for catching up to it so late.

There was a bit of oversight when I did this. I made the mistake of drawing her first then fitting the motorcycle around her rather the other way around.
By doing that it limited the choice as the 'bike had to be in a certain position (and it HAD to be an Indian!). Even more frustrating was that the vehicle was a one-off and there were no close up pictures!
The leathers were fun to do though.
Have thought about doing another with a Chief, more keeping with the original idea that I had, if I could face it again.
Anyway, always nice to hear from you, need to get my 'not-Halloween-hyena' pic done by, but not for, Halloween and I've also started one-off pic which I have no idea what to do with.
Watch this space!

This is like immensely awesome I have to say! Hehe idk why but im getting another 80s vibe from this and I just adore it. That aside though this look really good, the detail you put in here is super nice to look at and considering this is traditional media you conveyed all the chrome and metal texturing really nicely here as with the fur and mountain side its super nice and the colouring here is really smooth. Also the charchter looks really awesome! I really like the design and the detail you added to here is quite cool. All in all this is quite sick, well done!

Thank you very much! I always feel a sense of achievement when people spot these things; a Hell of a lot of effort went into that chrome to get it right, it is surprisingly easy but you can't rush it and the extra time is well worth it.
I think the motorcycle took at least three times as long to draw than it did her. All good fun though.

You are very welcome! Ooh nice oh god hehe I have no doubt there and definitely especially when you try to blend it (if you did or not) because sometimes trying to get the right transferrals for colour can make it smudgy as all hell. Oof no doubt how long did it take if you don't mind me asking?

On and off, I think it was over a course of three months. I painted the background in stages and that was about a week.
To get the shades, useing pens, you have to do it in layers; letting each layer dry before the next one is applied. That's why it took so long.

Depends what you're doing. Small areas only need a couple of the right colour but larger areas such as the mud-guards, need several to to get a 'flat' block of colour.

Initially, she was going to have a 'Native' look but I didn't think it would look right.
I might re-think that one.

Not at the moment, got others to finish off first. I was going to re-use an older drawing for the job but it wasn't suitable enough.

Good job on the Indian, BTW. Personally, I'm quite fond of big, hairy wolf-women. Especially biker _itches.
