Description
So I wanted to try my hand at a pin-up lady....but not just any generic pin-up...It's Ariel from The Little Mermaid!!!! (w/ her fork, aka Dinglehopper!...or small trident in this case lol)
NO REFERENCES!!!! (except the stupid fork....
I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue the Disney Pin-up series

I think her shoulders might be a little too broad, or maybe her face isn't feminine looking enough? Either way, something in the area looks more manly than usual.
It's a good piece otherwise. I like that you kept her tail, even though it's a pin-up.

Her shoulders are actually smaller than they are suppose to be proportionately. Shoulders on women should be a tiny bit more than the equivalent of the width of the face. I usually make them smaller because I like the way it looks stylistically. What I think makes her a tad manly is the chin. I put a highlight on it that makes it appear more broad than it should be...I've noticed it but didn't think it was bad enough to change. Thanks for critique-ing! Also, I like my pin-ups tall lol. I never even thought about pin-ups normally being shortened.
