When will her eyes turn red? I keep forgetting how long that takes with this species.

Females usually take a little longer than males. They will turn orange first, then turn red. She has been really slow with her eyes, so it will probably be another 2 years before they are totally finished changing.

wow. 2 years? I didn't realize it took that long for females of this species. How long does it take for males to change eye color?

It's supposed to be only about 2 or 3 years tops on average for them to change completely, but she has been really slow with her eyes. She still had her baby blue eyes until almost spring.

She'll probably become incredibly beautiful when she finally matures.
