you know why, cause your proball not use to this style of "power" ima help fill you in lol, all the manips i do are based on a story that is base don eevryday life, think of it as realtiy tv but with fantasy so............ in this modern day and age, a sotry takingplace in nyc, we "super heros" just wear regular clothes and try our best to be ourselves so him sumoning the leviathan in that shirt is just typical of him hahaah i mean look at whati wear for my manips, just regualr clothes, as fo rthe person, whats wrogn with him!?!?! hahah hes my freidn and hs just portaying his character, but by all means id love ot kwno what you feel about him ruins the pic, i cant chaneg who he is thoguh, we are just a group of friends in this modern world tryin gto survive fromt he goverment, there WILL be a WAR for survival.... nothing against him personally, just with most of these things the poses arent very dynamic or impressive! the clothes idea is cool, but.... for me it works in text perfectly fine, but when it comes to the artwork it looks kinda half assed if u get what i mean! it neads something to prove its deliberate rather than lazy, but thats just my oppinion and doesnt stop this being totally excellent!

yeah you need ot know abotu testaments hsitory, small over view the real testament was a demon when he got beat they seal dhim into a kids body then sealed the kid up, when testament broke free, edge and halo defeated him again and finally, and the resutl was the kid who still had testament spowers, thats a super smalle over view, im gla dyou liek th epic thoguh, and a leviaathan in this case is a spritual calling that manifest itself as a beast, its niether good nor evil, its lieka summon that appears when you use your power to call forth the inner animal

Really cool pic - 1 suggestion:
Learn to use displacement maps in Photoshop - it will give your water FX a much more realisitc appearance rather than looking like a flat overlay.

what do you thinkof my min technique, i know it looks stringy and stuff but witha few mods to it i can ge tit ggood, but as for the texture of it what do you think? so far water is the one i have most trouble with

I think it looks kewl but I would try to focus on the subtle FX that make it feel "real" rather than just an overlay.
For instance reflections of the magic in the surroundings and the light cast onto the objects including the magician.
Also the shadows that would be cast by this new bright light source.
The displacement maps will help the magic distort spacetime or in the case of the water elemental you can get that optical distortion like light refracting through it...

hmm ok, im not trying to aim for direct realisim, i guess im trying to keep it aniem with tis dramatic lighitng, hmm, how about my fire? i try to keep in mind of the surroudnign peoepl andth elight, as for shadows... that stircky ahahah, i knwo that my frie is th ebest of all my fx techniqus thgouh, i hope so anyway im defiently gona use a tisplacemtn map when eve ri can for my wate rnow that i know how ot use it in its baiscs, do you have any owrks that have displament maps? so i have abetetr ideal of how they look when implement on manips?

I'll have to dig out some pics of mine that use them - I often used them for the sort of examples in the links above to create mockups of products or events.
What I was trying to say about the shadows - I think you'll get an added dynamic edge to your already amazing work. Think AnimΓ©. Try it. If it doesn't work at least you had a go...
