leviathan... yes, well theres no such turotial that teaches it , i would know caus ei made it up myself, but it helps to thoroughly know what tools do what in fotoshop, this is beyodn what i ever helped dak with, this is literlaly years of self taught fotoshop at work here, al i can really suggest is just, familarize yrouself with the tools through tutorials, wate rmanip is sup far one of the most hardest, and there is no tutorial on it,i tried looking lol, didnt find anything

Thanks, atleast now i know i won;t go crazy trying t find a way to make water look real, hmmm. although there are water brushes for Photoshop, i use perspective and transformers to bend and strech the water....but other than that it looks kinds silly.

i did one wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy logn ago before i foudn you, then i saw the one you did, so i decded its about time i tried wate rmanipulation again, but withmy "updated skills" lol and this was the result, unfortunalty i have no access to any sort of real water stocks, so i had to make allthe water from scracth, not fun....

no allof thi sis self taught, i do ti for fun and as a hobby, how ever, i am currently writting a story in which i will use this style of manips to publish as cover art and inside art and what not.
i personally think is reatrded to take school for art, cause what is art? just a self expression, what one should take school for is to learn how to work and manage the business, not to draw a circle, i perosnally dont wanan manage or work the buisness, i'll leave that up to the manager lol, i just wanan draw the circles

Awesome liquid effects--that dragon is totally amazing. I think the photo part--especially the person--is a bit unnecessary; the color saturation in that area distracts a bit from the detail on the dragon.

the person is actually the important art of the image cause hes the summoner of the leviathan, without him there would be no reason for the leviathan to exist, plus thats what makes this a fotomanipulation, my fortee

I see--in that case, I would recommend toning down the contrast a little there--considering the rain, there'd be some fog.
And I think your forte might also be digital painting--that dragon is very impressive.

hmm fog.... woudlnt thta be from far away though? i seldom see fog when it rains here, but then again im from nyc... th epollution may be effect it... as fr the contrast youmena the deep blue of Testaments shirt? or how dark it is compaired to the relative brightness of the water?
ps, i cant digital paint for th elife of me lol, that dragon was not technically digitaly painted, thoguh digital paitnign help make the form, everythign else is fitlered and fotomanipped

Admittedly, it might be a bit of an orthographic view--but since some of the water is wrapped around Testament and there is spray at the bottom of his feet, I'd expect some mist/fogging. Both his hair and the shirt have the most absolute color (saturation) in the scene. Actually, the brightness of the water matches how strongly colored he is.

nah deinetly not, the liqify filter is best when you need ot remove excess weight froma person or add sum weigh tot sumone, but i never use it for creating water
