I won't say she's interested in Mitsunari, it's just that Mitsunari has such fabulous, glossy, perfect hair most girls would want.
Ginchiyo is just wondering how to get that type of hair.
Historically, she actually advised her husband to join the Eastern army instead of Western, so I think she doesn't really respect Mitsunari that much.

Ah, that's another story, but she actually told her husband to side with the Eastern army.
Reasons were suppose to be; firstly their long time enemies the Shimazu already sided with the Western army, and she also saw that the Eastern army had a better chance at winning.
However, Muneshige felt he own some favours to the late Hideyoshi, so he rolled with the Western army.

Well, I'm not too sure of the specifics, but my guess would be mostly when Hideyoshi was on conquest on Kyushuu.
Muneshige did want Hideyoshi to come down to prevent the Shimazu's conquest of overall Kyushuu.
Because the Tachibana (and their lord clan Ootomo) were being pressured by the Shimazu.
Among, one of the things that happened was that his young brother Tachibana Naotsugu was being held for conditions by the Shimazu. I understand the negotiations were difficult.
After Hideyoshi's invasion, they successfully saved out Naotsugu and stopped the Shimazu.
Moreover, Hideyoshi gave Muneshige a lot of land for his accomplishments during Hideyoshi's time.
And probably other things~ But I haven't gotten around to translating them.

That moment in the anime, when kunoichi gets shot and then mitsunari's broken horn thing fells out of her shirt and he comes to the background as sassy as ever XD
