My first 3D print (7" collectible) is on the way. Here you can see a direct comparison between the 3D printing (the last photo I get from Gameprint) and a render.It looks absolutely marvelous.

Jetzt bin ich echt platt! Danke für's Teilen dieser erstaunlichen Arbeit. Werde gleich mal weiter hierzu recherchieren. Bin zwar noch etwas entfernt davon, selbst solche Skulpturen zu schaffen, aber ich finde dieses Beispiel äußerst motivierend.

Absolut faszinierend wie diese Prints nach eine professionellen Bemalung aussehen können.
Das ist, nach dem Algorithmus um druckbare Haare zu berechnen, die große Leistung von GamePrint.
Frag mal bei Mike nach, ich hab von meinen Figuren einen Google drive Link mit vielen Produktionsbildern und den .Stl Files (zum selberdrucken) bekommen.

Ja, und dass sie da kleine Magnete eingebaut haben, damit die Figur beim Zusammensetzen fast von alleine in ihre Position geht und bleibt finde ich hammer!

Hey, wie toll ist das denn!!!! Dass das so gut werden kann - ich bin beeindruckt, sitzt da jemand, der das bemalt oder wird das mitgedruckt? Andreas, das ist ja wieder ein Meilenstein!!!

Das ganze wird von Hand bemalt. Ich hab auch mal ein Foto davon bekommen, wie sie den Stuhl bemalen:
Von den anderen Arbeitsschritten habe ich leider keine Fotos bekommen. Aber hier (www.daz3d.com/forums/discussio… ) kann man das sehr schön bei anderen Figuren nachvollziehen.

nice, and makes sense ^_^ real material has it's minimal unit of size which is nozzle diameter, so printed model has details around that order of magnitude - magnified (like folds on jeans), and details smaller than that - absent (separate hairs)
