Both. Drawings without color are nice. but color is always the more popular choice. People tend to be drawn to colored pictures more then black and white. Hope that helps.

Think about it:
Where does Link put all the crap he gets? Where does he hide the iron boots, fishing rod, slingshot, two swords, generally two sheilds, and other miscellaneous items?
And what does Kirby do? He swallows things, and then either absorbs their power or carries them around until he spits it back out.
