If your sim is a witch, he/she can cast a spell to turn someone into a statue.
Unlike most of the spells, it doesn't interrupt target's action. So there will be infinite number of poses.
And you can free them as you wish.Β Β Or...Β make them irreversible.

Oh you can just drag it around or put it in the inventory just like any object.

With a mod named pose player, you can make them to petrify with a downloaded custom pose.
Then use the "moveobjects on" cheat code to overlap the lamp and the statue.

Sorry, I'm still working on it.
I'm making a function to pull out a soul from a statue, them give it to another statue, kind of like body-switch thing.
