I don't believe I caught what became of Clawdia. I looked back, and I see that they ruled that she's batshit insane, but then what? Did they rule her not guilty by reason of insanity and placed under treatment at the very place she works at? Did they threaten her into releasing them all? Surely not all of them were all recovered... then again, like Iggy says here, there's really no proof as to whether one is recovered or not, or what from.

Wait for it, wait for it... ^^ I can reveal that while Clawdia's fate may be more than satisfying, it may also bring up some more questions. It appears as Iggy is not the only one with contacts in certain shady areas In the original Iggy's Poison the other residents run away while Shelly and Iggy remain, holding hands as they are handcuffed. Iggy appears to be alone here, with both handcuffs and a broken heart. Still he's so happy for his friends. He has learned a lot. <3

Ooh, lemme guess, her asteroid's gonna get blown up? Or was she too poor growing up to get that kind of reward that is reserved only for early accomplishment? Poverty and classist hiring/education policies are a great issue - the elite are, broadly speaking, either obvious cases of nepotism, or unscrupulous enough to cheat their way out of poverty. But what do the science popularizers think is the most horrible thing holding back the education of America's youth? Not poverty, not underfunded school districts... but religion. No, I don't approve of Creation being taught in a biology classroom, but that is not even a widespread issue, and one's natural historical beliefs have no bearing on their potential to make scientific accomplishments. I get the sense that these IFLS-approved fucktards and their followers are operating according to a primal, tribal "us versus them" mob mentality where they forsake actual interest and/or accomplishment in science to bully the religious folk just for the fun of it. What do they gain out of "putting them in their place"? They don't change the religious people's beliefs, they don't gain many if any atheist converts, all they accomplish from tearing apart such straw men is cheers from their followers who already needed no convincing, and by alienating those who have beliefs that they appear hostile to they fan the flames of the war between religion and science, drive the far right further right, and take attention away from the real issues facing science education, since it's so much more fun to pick on the ill-educated and brainwashed, am I right? I watched some Neil deGrasse Tyson the other day just for, well, laughs, see... I nearly pissed my pants at his fanpeoples; they literally NERDGASM from watching/listening to him... have these people ever read a textbook? And I mean a book that teaches REAL math and science not a physics for laypeople book written by a science popularizer... all I can say about this dude is that, to me, his discussion was very basic; pure pablum. Great for middle schoolers, but these are grown adults that don't know this? Honestly I think I'd find an episode of Jersey Shore more educational... at least I'd get schooled in social skills/"cool girl" culture/whatever that show is about...

i feel this whole comic flowed with our friendship in a loose manner. of course iggys story is far different, but parallels stand out to me. there was the beginning, the introduction of the story. then the middle, full of instability yet growth and a whole plethora of other things. and now here we are at the end, where things have cooled down and loose ends are being tied up, the conflict is resolved. we've both learned and accepted things just as iggy has.
this comic will always mean something to me, even though i never took part in making it. it was something, in the beginning, that enabled me to connect with you and lead to a friendship. and in the end i learned a lot, about people, friendships, the world, and most of all my self, whether it was due to your analyzations or just the experiences we had that brought out certain points of my nature.

You were very much a part of this comic indeed ^^. Your enthusiasm helped me so much. I felt bad when we slipped away from each other, but as ironic as it may sound, making this comic has taught me some lessons as well, among them, how to let go. There's a difference between letting go of people and giving them up. You needed to find your own, and you were going through your own personal things. I was too. Right now I'm in the process of healing and trying to decide what to do with the future. It's gonna take a little while, but I know things will get better.

i wouldn't say ironic; as an artist with works that mean a lot to me i'm not at all surprised that you learned from your own work. other people may not understand that one can learn from their own creations but i do. and thats one of the things i love about being an artist, the self discovery that i would other wise would not gain. those who art not artists them selves with never understand what makes art valuable. its not the quality of the technique used in masterpieces, or the bullshit story explaining modern art, its how the art connects to the artist. the feelings and experiences that inspired the artist to make it, what the artist gained from creating it.
