wow
your work is simply stunning, am so jealous.
wow, love the use of greens, and the design work and layouts are just simply gorgeous!
i wish i had your talent! even only being half as talented as you would be a major achievement
oh
am struggling with the use of colour, i tend to end with with white red and black alot, any tips on how to work with colours?

wow thanks for the compliment
well as for colour, i go through colour phases. i have recently gotten out of a really long orange/yellow colour phase where all my designs where based on those colours hehe ive just gone into a green one.
but generally i have a long think sbout the type of design im doing, what is it for? what is it's target audience, what is its subject etc, and go from there.
for this one i really wanted to capture the organic feel of the music, but not be too organic as to look like a greepeace reforrestation cd organic-meets-technology is what i needed to capture.
getting the right greens took a while, and i had to overlay a lot of different elements to get the right fade and texture that i wanted. i really happy with the results (yet to see the finished product yet though)
thx again for you commment

Very stylized product packaging. Fits its content very well. I like the abstraction yet clean and retable. Aesthetic and technical. I think this would work with something along the lines of 3d programs packaging as well as Trance Music. Love it. Thanks for sharing.

nice nice nice job!
And for me, the green organic bio feel of this whole CD has me going! Great job and execution on this concept!
I'm heavy into Drum n' Bass - but got into it all from the likes of: Deep Sky, Theeo, Christopher Lawrence, etc,, this design looks like it goes with tunes - great job!!!

im all for constructive critisizm, and i thank you for your input, really. i tried different typefaces, and was definately thinking about the legibility. normally i would have gone with another one, but this being a psytrance release, i opted for the style of the lettering rather than the legibility. psy releases tend to be a bit more leaniant when it comes to visuals (not this this is an excuse, just my reasonings behind it.)
thx for your input, sorry bout the tone of that message, was in a foul mood

not one for constructive criticism then?
im not the only person who is gonna have trouble reading what it says - typography is very important in a design, and it can often make or break it

under the song titles, the written and produced etc. I think it's just the size on screen and the font.
in the top left corner bottom right pic, the there isn't enough contrast between the white text and background.
again, it will likely be better in print
