Despite having pokemon fan characters for years, I never once bothered to actually upload them to deviantart...UNTIL TODAY!

And so I present Boog, short for Bugle.
She, ((yes, boog is in fact a girl)) is still a work in progress, mostly her history, but for the most part, her personality is down. So if you don't mind reading the bunches of text that come next, I thank you.

Boog is a fairly simple cheerful person for the most part. Optimistic almost to an obnoxious degree
Boog likes to see people happy and tends to be nosy when they aren't, of course she means well in just trying spread the happiness. However she can be a bit persistent and pushy about it as well, opting not to leave the person alone until she can get them to crack a smile.

It takes a lot to make Boog upset, usually she is able to brush off whatever comes at her and continue her merry way. When Boog becomes sad it usually is very temporary, she simply can't stay sad for long, after a few hours or a day she's usually at least in a more amiable air. Of course she hurts, it takes something rather catastrophic though to make her truly depressed though.

Similarly it takes quite the effort to make Boog mad, and frankly, its terrifying. What makes it scarier is that she never stops smiling.

Despite the lighthearted disposition, Boog is by no means a goody goody.

This tends to show mostly around members of any malicious crime organization ((Rocket, Galactic, Magma, Aqua, you name it)) Quite frankly, Boog loathes them all. She finds their is little to no excuses for being part of these teams. ((perhaps the only one that might be acceptable is if someone was forced to work against their will due to loved ones being threatened, even then though, Boog tends to be skeptical)) To members that cross her path, she's downright malicious, not afraid to bring bodily harm to them.

Which brings us to another point with Boog. She doesn't like pokemon battling, nope. Never liked it since she was a kid. Always feared trainers popping out of nowhere then attacking you, taking your money if you lost, and then stranding you with your fainted pokemon.

Of course, Boog is well adept in battling, had to learn some of it to protect herself when traveling, but there's one key aspect that she requires when battling with other trainers. Trainers partake in the battle too, and not just on the sidelines getting orders, nuh uh, trainers are as much as targets as pokemon are. And when in a battle Boog always aims for the trainer first. ((this being because she wants the battle over with, knock out the trainer, trainer can't give orders, battle over...mostly))
Also Boog doesn't play by the rules. When a trainer challenges her, she refuses right off the get go. If the trainer persists and sends out a pokemon to force Boog to battle, then she sees it as being attacked and will go through all lengths to 'defend' herself, which means sometimes having all of her pokemon on the field at once.
Luckily, if she does beat the other trainer she's nice enough to not take their money since she doesn't consider it an official battle.

Is this dangerous? You betcha! Boog has multiple scars on her body from partaking in such a dangerous endeavor, hence why she always wears long sleeves, and pants, to hide those little remnants of past battles.

So why make trainers fight? This aspect comes from Boog's past with pokemon, at least her own encounters. She didn't catch her first pokemon ((Leroux)) he more protected her when she couldn't protect herself. For the most part her pokemon expect that if they are to put themselves in harms way for Boog, then Boog should do the same for them. If ever Boog tried to make them fight without her sharing in the same danger, they'd simply refuse to fight, allowing for Boog to finish what she started on her own.

Last note for now: despite her hair covering her eyes, she can still see quite well. How she does it is a trade secret.

Well thats a bit of a look into Boog's personality.
There's a lot more, but I probably shouldn't overwhelm everyone with that in one go.

Oh, almost forgot the leavanny up there.
His name is Leroux, and he is Boog's first pokemon.
Leroux used to be a simple little seawaddle who liked to play and have fun what not...whatever seawaddles do, heck, like he can remember.
Then there was the fateful day when Boog took him to the city and to say the least...it was...enlightening.

Leroux was stunned by fashion. He pitied himself for thinking that leaves looked good and instead decided to make real fashion.
Now he's a total drama queen obsessed with things looking good. Particularly Boog, whom Leroux refused to go out with in public if she's wearing anything he finds to be repulsive. To prevent the horror of being seen with a fashionable mess, Leroux tends to make all of Boog's clothing...and forces her to wear it. He's really pushy.

Needless to say he doesn't hide his disgust when he sees people wearing horrible outfits. Rather, if he can't make them something decent, he stays a distance from them as though they had the plague. Its the only way to prevent himself from getting physically ill. The air becomes foul to him when diseased with...bad fashion.

Leroux usually is uptight. He can be relaxed at times and happy, but its rare and even then its more of a calm mood unlike the others. When Leroux feels he's failed at something he gets downright depressed, it takes a lot of consoling from Boog to get him back on his feet and ready to bring some good fashion sense into the world once more. He also gets pissed off fairly easy. Otherwise he just tends to have an attitude.

Despite this, he still remains quite stuck to Boog, despite her lack of fashion sense. After all, without her, he would never have found his calling. Of course he cares for her on a deeper level, but gosh, he's not gonna get all gooshy bout it.
