FAQs:
Q: I see you've included two additional guest fighters on the DLC roster. What made you pick these particular characters?
A: Well, the reason I picked Leona Heidern (from The King of Fighters) is because of two reasons. One is that she was in the SNK vs. Capcom series (albeit, as a cameo). Also, I happen to have a crush on the character. As for Alucard (from Castlevania), I chose him because of how much I love Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It's definitely my #1 favorite game in the franchise, not to mention Alucard is an awesome character.

Q: Regarding the Mega Man X5 Mavericks that are playable characters, why are you referring to them by their original Japanese names?
A: It's because I personally don't like the Guns 'N Roses names, since they sound silly. Also, Mega Man X Legacy Collection is changing the names to their original Japanese names, most likely due to royalties. Although, as you can see, Shining Hotarunicus (Izzy Glow in America) is now changed to Shining Firefly. As a result, that is what he will be referred to as in Capcom vs. Nintendo.

Q: Are there any characters you once considered adding to Capcom vs. Nintendo?
A: Yeah. In order of rivalry, there was Magma Dragoon, Charizard, Crystal Snail, Noxus, Dhalsim, Wii Fit Trainer, Balrog, Mr. Sandman, Rose, Rosalina, Slash Beast, Meowth, Boomer Kuwanger, Pinsir, Skull Man, Hero's Shade, Ken Masters, Infernape, Dudley, Panther Caroso, Firebrand, Hades, Plant Man, and Carnivine.

Q: Is there any reason why you decided to not include some of those particular characters?
A: In the case of Magma Dragoon, I felt that Ryu and Akuma were enough in terms of ability. As for Panther Caroso, I honestly don't know how he would be able to fight, since we've never actually seen him in hand-to-hand combat.

Q: For one last question, we can't help but wonder how the default character select screens go to the DLC character select screens. How does it work?
A: I'm glad you asked. I guess it could work like with Mega Man 8's Robot Master select screen, where four are available from the start, then once you beat the intermission stage, you can switch to the other four Robot Masters, and vice versa. Think of it like that.
