I dug through my files on my old PC that I've been using ever since I remember until 2013~ it hasn't been upgraded for a really long time now and it's very rarely used now, but it still contains stuff I've made while using it.. and I found it particularly interesting to take a very old piece and kind of redraw it/use it as an inspiration bc drawing Pokemon for me is far more entertaining when they're gijinkas :'D
back in 2008 I was kinda obsessed with Latias and Latios and I drew a lot of these two~
the old picture was drawn with either photoshop or imageready and a mouse (I still have no idea why my dad had this kind of professional software on that computer, but that was cool) and the new one is done with clipstudiopaint and a cintiq13HD.
Seeing this, I can only say that I'm super proud of my improvement! I know 10 years is a lot, but I've always loved drawing and if not for hard work I wouldn't be where I am today. I've grown from a drawing kid into a professional artist, and a few of my artistic dreams/goals have already come true. It takes a long time, but investing in my hobby is really paying off, and I'm not stopping here~
