Wow, the shot really takes in the intensity of the situation, I'm a lil scared even 00. You should really check out some footage people took of the recent bushfire in Victoria Australia, very scary

That is so scary looking, it really looks like hell. I can picture a terminator or a giant tripod from War of the Worlds coming out of the flames to kill everyone. Where was this taken?

I'm really amazed to to find this photo in the list of daily deviations...
Why, you ask? Simply because it seems that DD always feature some spectacular perfect quality work.
This just proves the opposite, that a true and excellent photo op. can be enough to turn the tide and that quality alone isn't enough.
While looking at this photo I am simply amazed. As and industrial firefighter I though I had seen some of the worst stuff possible. But this scene here beats everything I have imagined or seen to date.
Just the sheer fury of this fire and how it seems to consume the entire street makes you wonder if this was only a pleasure to photograph.
I give you the full credit for a truly stunning scene of utter destruction, but I can at the same time imagine the terror that many of the spectators might have felt at this moment.

OMG, this is extremely scary. The street itself seems on fire... I think the bit that I find the most scary are the electric lines catching fire near the crowd...
That must have been a devastating loss for this town.
