Wow, I always say how much your style reminds me of the Rocko/Lazlo style..but then when you actually DRAW Rocko I don't recognize him! XD Seriously, I had to read the title again to realize.. totally thought these two were original characters of yours. XD I didn't even realize that was Rocko till I read the title, I only kinda noticed that was Courage by seeing the shape of his nose.
I think maybe it's the color you have Rocko here, that's probably why I didn't recognize him. I used to watch Rocko a lot as a kid and I have to admit. He was probably the closest I've ever had to having furry/gay 'feelings?' about a cartoon character. XD There was some kind of unexplained hotness that seemed to surround the idea that he didn't wear pants but wore a shirt.. and how his tail would just stick out the back there and lift up his shirt. *is weird*

I only watched Rocko once as a child. It wasn't that popular for me as a child. So naturally when I had strive to become a better artist and people said my style reminded them of Rocko's modern life, I had no idea what that was. xD
I watched it one day, and I was completely amazed. XD
