Yes let communism ruin 2/3 of Europe and not only 1/2 XD
I still wonder how people can support the Sowjetunion, it was one of the biggest fails in history.

because now states like Poland are rising economically.

A countries GDP =/= wealth inequality within the country. A 'rich' country with high GDP does not mean the average citizen is rich or well-off given the wealth can be concentrated in a few sectors.

yeah, but now there's regional disparities and people form the 'east' who couldnt find a job because the capitalist system would not hire them etc. Also, East Germany was rich for a COMECON/WARPAC country apparently up there wiht Yugoslavia.

.I think the issue's with the former soviet union wasn't just because of Communism.
Since the beginning the western world hated the socialist/communist ideal simply because it took away money.
When I mean beginning I mean like the 1840's, this was the industrial revolution and they idea of the workers rising up scared wealthy men, so the whole anti-communism thing began there. Even after the industrial revolution hatred towards communism and socialism remained.
During the 1920's when many African Americans were gaining rights, supporters were called communist but not the same as those from the USSR. Communism is a word which means a group of people who are against a thought, or ideal.
So the word communism was related to subjects that were very controversial.
From there WW2 and the Cold War just divided the two ideas even more. And this just might be me, but because the Western nations won, they can pretty much say what they want about Communism. I personally support the communist ideal, but I'm not against the capitalist one.

the people 70 years ago were only evil monsters. And we couldnยดt defend us against that lies.

Tho I think communism is too much about equality, because I myself think, everyone deserves the same rights,
but not everyone shall be exactly equal, for exampl that a hard working man doesnยดt get more money than a lazy ass.

I could more think about a meritocracy with a soft capitalism where banks have not much power.

History is written by the victor. I don't think it's American propaganda but just American idiocy. Germany is a beautiful country and has such a rich history.
I have little respect for Stalin, I understand he killed millions. Yet he also industrialized Russia, he made factories and hospitals which remain today. He did many things for his people.
See something a lot of people don't know is that in communism there isn't any money. The system from what I can tell is based on work. I mean if someone didn't do anything, then the person would just die. The state supports you if you work.
Communism wants everyone to have an equal chance to become anything but you have to work for it, you can't just relax and do nothing because then nothing would get down.
That would be something I'm in support of.

The best system to me would be just, that the best of the best lead the country, everyone gets the same chances,
and the peoples, cultures and traditions are protected.

No one has ever created a true communist state, and instead a socialist state was put in but made to seem like communism.

Well leftwing people have a bad image in Germany, let me explain.
In 1968 we had a student revolution of communistic orientated people, they said we must be ashamed for Germany forever,
and many antigerman and anti-cultural groups came up. Later the so called Antifa (Antifaschisten) were founded and they say things like:
Germany die, Poland must border to France, Thanks you Bomber Harris for killing people in Dresden and they attack people in traditional clothes
or with the german flag during soccer events.
So here we somehow connect these leftradical people and communism, with anti-culture, and anti-german thoughts.
Itยดs unbelieveable, that they hate their own land.
I mean also communists were usually patriots, Karl Marx wanted to change his fatherland Germany and loved it, in Eastgermany they were also patriotic.
Because patriotism is not right or left, it is for everyone to support the homeland.
So we have a different view on it.
In other states, such leftwing people can be different. I heard the communists in Chile were very patriotic and not like any left people in Germany,

Germany is a strong and wonderful nation. My mother traveled over Europe and she loved Germany more then any other place. I do not understand the hate people have for it, but I feel you should be proud to be German.
