In real life, the Soviet Union was the first country that recognized the independence of Israel and opened diplomatic relations. The Soviets also supplied Israel with weapons for a very short period of time in the beginning - about 6 months if I remember correctly. Also, most of the founders of Israel were socialists, and quite a few of them admired the USSR.
But then relations between the USSR and Israel cooled for a number of reasons, and eventually Israel became an American ally.
The point is, there was a good chance that Israel might have ended up on the Red side of the Cold War. It didn't happen in real history, but I guess it did happen in this universe.

true, also Israel was one of the first non-warsaw pact countries that made commonaly property part of the law. I never really understood why the relation broken

im guessing that the early zionists were all socialists and part of why the USSR was one of the early contries to acknowledge israel. i can see an expanded USSr liberalizing so soviet jews are free to move to communist israel.

Interesting...so you made it in which the Soviet Red Army made it's way across Finland during the Continuation war and Norway. Also that the 400 km advance after the warsaw uprising gained another 300-200 km in which all of Germany was taken and that, either Tito and Enver Joined into a united front to form a giant Yugoslavia or Enver liberated all the area. and when Bulgaria was taken the Red Army aided the communists to reliberate Greece and, somehow, the Red army made a successful attempt at Italy. While this was happening Turkey may have joined the fascists side and were taken out and British involement in Perisa was defeated as the Peoples Republic of azerbijian (or Tunia, can never rember the names) took the whole of Perisa and became a new Socialist Republic.

You do indeed know that Lenin's and Marx's ideals were nothing like the (late) Soviet Union's, don't you?

Pssst!
I think THEY know.
It's everybody else, those acting like they still have the Red Scare, that don't really know what Communism really was about.
