Gorn was named after a lizard creature from an old episode of Star Trek called "Arena." I thought Gorn would make a cool name for a cat.

yes it is an awesome name! I like to come up with unique names you don't hear alot, like we had a black lab that we named Cindel, off of the Ewoks Battle for Endor....

yeah I wonder where they come up with some of the names they have, could you imagine sitting around a table writing the script and saying something like "zafrina, you will be the leading lady thingamajigy on the planet Ventar" ok guys that sounds cool, print it" sorry I like to ramble

They got so creative at the Sci-Fi channel that they renamed it Syfy... not kidding.

wow, what did they save in money by dropping a few letters....hmmm go figure. I like to watch scifi but there is some wierd stuff on there that makes me go holy crap I need a guard dog..
