Description
Here's the first drawing of a long series of character designs i've been working on.This character is loosely inspired by Maja Ivarrson of The Sounds and The Chainsaw Massacre.

EDIT - Tweaked her arms so they're not as long. They're still pretty lanky, i know =[
Also made the glowing parts a bit brighter

It is safe to publish your own designs without the fear of them being robbed by some guy and then used in another country, project, etc... DA offers some kind of protection to that? at least you can say that they are original of yours if something like that happens? I want to upload my own designs but I'm a little afraid

this might sound crazy, but i've learned to not care as much. my designs/inspirations are a combination of other people's work. nothing out there will be 100% original. some of my designs stem from inspiration from other DA users' original characters as well.
this is just my opinion though

I don't think they're lanky. She has that western look so a thin frame and arms are not off. It's your "energy" chainsaws that might make her arms lanky because chainsaws are heavy. We're expecting muscles that flip chainsaws. Given the knives and pistols, the saws seem out of place for her.
Now that I think about it, where is Maja going to put those saws?

Uh, her arms are actually still freakish on the forward-facing shots. Just wow. Usually the wrist ends at about the groin... she just keeps goingggggg

She's got spurs...so does that mean she actually rides horses? If so, you seem to have given her a case of assless chaps. I take it the band-aid on her butt is the result of just 5 minutes on a horse.
Logic says her butt isnt going to stay this pretty for long, nor her inner thighs, if she continues to ride.

I don't like the red-orange color of the holsters. They throw everything off.Maybe make them a darker shade of the brown you use? The white trimming can stay cause that'll help accentuate it more.
