This is the second part of my work for [link] Debutante Girls Plus One Contest. It's a close up of the second panel for it.The outfit, hairstyle are my designs. The background is as well. It is my photograph which I manipulated in Photoshop. I drew everything, scanned it, and colored in PSC2.
Time-wise, I have no idea how long I spent on all the panels together, I know the contest gave us 2 months so I used it pretty much all the time I had, just on and off when I could. This was especially challenging for me since I had to draw three sets of characters and two sets had to have the same outfits just different perspectives which I suck at! -.- The original drawing and the colored version look soo different since I had to pretty much draw everything over in PS because it just looked bad, adding more to my time spent on it.
I'd love to win, of course, or at least place! I'd kill for a subscription since I'll never get one otherwise! -.- Anyone who can, please vote for me! ~.~

Winry looks goregous. Ed looks good too, but I personally can't think of too much to do with a suit and tie.
The ruffles of Winry's dress are pretty small and intricate. How long did they take?

LOL, actually that was pretty easy, I kinda cheated. I made the design one time which did take a bit to get it correct, but then copied and pasted it multiple times on the dress to make it all the same. !~.~

LOL, not quite! ^.^ They're just getting ready to go the Debutante Ball, so they gotta get pretty dressed up. Besides, I would hope Win wouldn't wear a tiara at her wedding! *.*

Yup, she sure is. Just to let you know, I went by both the early manga and eps. for that measurement. When the trio went to Rush Valley (the first time) both mediums showed a pic of Ed and Win next to each other in front of Al watching the arm wrestling match. In it, Ed reaches Win's eye level, proving her jokes about him being short! ^.^
Of course in the recent manga stories, I think they're even, but I've always depicted him shorter than her for more joke value than anything! ~.~

I thought Winry looked odd at first, but then I realized she's probably wearing makeup. Maybe even for the first time. I wonder if she stabs herself in the eye with the mascara brush like I do. (Putting on makeup is such a freaking PAIN! because I do it only for special occasions.)

Yeah, I gave her makeup, I figured it's a special occasion that she would go all out for. That's what I'd do as well.
