So Breaking Dawn came out down under yesterday. I've already read all the spoilers.. (AS IF I'd actually read the book) and I hope against hope once the fans have read it they'll realise the error of their squealing-ways.Anyway. My picture. Would you perhaps like to know why Edward is dressed like some muscle-bound, idealised hunk from the cover of a badly-written romance? THIS IS WHY: [link] ... I thought it was a joke for a good five minutes.
What were they thinking when they cast him as Edward? Clearly this man would have been a better choice: [link] .... once you've clicked that.. and you've returned here to flame me for my opinion.. think carefully about what that man has to say.
I know you'll agree with me eventually. After all, he sure has got the right hair!

The night Perth came to life was when Breaking Dawn was released- amongst the squillions of "BELLAXEDWARD4EVA!!!" and "BELLAXJACOB4EVA" fangirls and fanboys (few, but still there)- one little fangirl stood out amongst the rest of them with a shirt saying "EDWARDXJACOB4EVA!!!111"... now i wish i took a photo of that.

This was wonderful. I'm one of those people who actually liked Twilight when it first came out, but....yeah....Breaking Dawn kind of killed it for me (no pun intended). It should have ended that way, dammit!

XD Thank you, thank you. It was pretty amazing. We did it outside while we waited for our ride. (The line literally wove all through the lower level of the store and then out the door for another 100 meters or so. It was madness, I tell you!)

Haha. My mom pre-ordered in May as a birthday gift to me but it wasn't at the Chapters so I only ended up going because a friend wanted to. It ended up being fun though. Of course, we spent the whole time in the paranormal section while I read League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics and my friends read books on astrology.

The difference between Sean Connery's Alan Quartermain and the comic version is probably the biggest difference I found, other then the addition of Dorian. xD

I would have preferred it, though, if they kept the original stories concerning the origins of Jekyll and Hyde and.. Hawley Griffiths? Was that the name of the invisible man? I loved his in particular.. I mean, it was disgustingly horrible that he was doing that to those girls.. but it did have a wicked humour to it xD

I agree. I checked Wiki for certainty and it's Hawley Griffin. His origins were amazing. I was sitting in my little corner in the back of Chapters and giggling madly while my friends stared and wondered what had me going. His intro into the League in the movie was amusing but not as amusing.
