Uhhh... well the ones I care about are Prop 4, and Prop 8. Four makes it so you have to tell your parents if you're getting an abortion, and they can choose to not let you. So that would like, suck for people who got RAPED!!!!!!1 and their parents are religious or something ehhh anyway. I can see why it's a good proposition but yeah.
And Prop 8 would make it again illegal for same-sex marriage to occur. :c LAME

I've heard about Prop 8... I was seething about it all last night, actually.. to the point where I marched into my brother's room (he's a bit of a homophobe) and demanded 'Do YOU think gay marraige is wrong?!' ... and he was like *FEAR* lol nah, his respone was 'I don't care if gay people get married.'
Which was a slightly homophobic way of saying 'No.' And that consoled me.

I agree with you completely on the issue of abortion. Although, I know I myself would keep the baby.. and I worry about the women out there who just don't care.
I've had indirect experiences with girls my age just getting abortions because they're being irresponsible and have money to burn.. and I despise that attitude.

I was reading this morning that Prop 8 will pass.. that is a truly terrible thing.. especially considering the huge racial reform we've seen with Obama. Discriminating minorities is WRONG, people - has this election taught you NOTHING?! UGH.

Yeah... it pretty much has passed at this point. I'm so disappointed in California. And I said that to one of my friends today and a super!Christian turned around and looked me square in the eyes and said: "You know, it's pretty arrogant of you to assume and say we're all stupid when you don't understand the opposite side."
That really shocked me. It just... the blatant acceptance of discrimination, and the immediate faith to something that, in this day and age, needs to be modified to express equality for all--the very thing this nation is founded on. Of course I understand the opposite side to Proposition 8. It'll "confuse the children." Sure, fine, child psychological health is good and dandy. But how can you really go into a voting both and crush the spirits of people in love, solely based on that fact? It's just so sad me, that gays have to fight this hard for something that is earned instantly upon being brought into the USA. We're equal, in one way or another--that is this country's view. Politics and religion are to be kept separate. This should have nothing to do with religion. Everyone has the right to be happy, and that includes gays.

In my Psychology class last year my teacher informed us that there are more and more includes indicating that you are indeed born gay. Of course, it's not a valid idea yet, but... assuming it does hold true, yes, you can't change it. They didn't necessarily ask to be gay (though a lot of stupid teenagers these days proclaim they're bi just because its the "in thing to do") and so why should you be punished for it?
