You're not a geek - this is such a moment for me lol.. I'm usually so pedantic about depicting characters from books (the most "radical" thing I think I've ever done being Armand's freckles).. I can't believe Louis has wavy hair... and what's this? "barely touched"? he has SHORT hair??

screw the movie (although playing Lestat was like the height of Tom Cruise's career) - the books are sooo good lol. The characters are so serious and yet they do the most stupid things.
I read those books for the boys as well. And their "platonic" love for each other that always borders on creamy yaoi

Uuuhm, David is mentioned throughout 'Queen of the Damned' and comes into the story "officially" at the end of it. He's like this old English guy who is a superior member of a group called the Talamasca who monitor otherwordly beings, such as vampires and witches. (lol, Lestat gets really chuffed about having his very own file in their records)

And David's really important in 'Tale of the Body Thief' .. his body gets switched for a younger man's one, hence why I made the really bad joke about him looking like a completely different person lol.

Anyway. Overkill of info. It's just always amused me how Lestat can fall in love with anyone - be they male or female, young or nearly senile.

Stuart Townsend put on a Transylvanian accent! It was awful! Tom Cruise was a great Lestat, and he had a slight French-ish accent. It was kind of French/American. Better than Transylvanian.
