Oooh deary me.This had better amuse someone half as much as it amused me to draw it, becuz it was a complete waste of my time lol
You know, there are so many oppurtunities to mock these characters and yet there just isn't enough crack VC art out there (as far as I know)...
so draw more, people! Please! It does entertain me so.

p.s. this contains the first joke I've made about the Lestat musical. There will be more. Elton John was really just asking for it.

Uh yeah, he definitely destroyed Nicki's mental health. Oh everything went so wrong. That's a shame. I really liked Nicki.
But hey, Lestat was still a young vampire and needed some experience, right? At the moment I can't remember if Gabrielle or Nicolas was his first fledgling but it simply had to happen that Lestat fails at least once. Let's forgive him this time.

LOL...yeah, I first saw this comic about a month ago, and it made me laugh so much I went out and started reading The Vampire Chronicles. And I'm so glad I did. I'm about three quarters through The Vampire Lestat at the moment. Such good books...and I'm a little obsessed now. All because of your comics. XD

Man, it really was awesome...I finished it yesterday. And now I need to track down Queen of The Damned...my life is meaningless until I find it. But wow, Lestat is the BEST VAMPIRE EVERrrrrrr...and Louis came baaaaaack! Such a good series so far...XD

I very nearly squeed. The only thing that kept me from doing so was the fact that it was 2 AM...and my parents sleep in the room next to mine. So the sound I made was a choke-y, muffled, gargling noise. Plus lots of excited bouncing. And that kiss was aweeeeesommmeeee! They make an ADORABLE couple.

Interview is a good movie. It's fairly long.. and Louis irks me with his whining... but Tom Cruise actually does a pretty good job of capturing Lestat (how Louis percieves him at that point, anyway) ... and.. the movie changes the ending BUT it happens to be my favourite movie ending of all time
Seriously. I own it on DVD, and I sit through the whole thing JUST for the awesomeness of the ending c:

Yowzah. I saw it a few days ago...better than I expected. I mean, so many films based off books are failures in some way or annother, but this one was pretty good! Cruise was good...XD
As for the ending, my initial reaction was "WHAT?? NO, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN! WHAT...THE...NOOOOO...my mind is so confused...". But pretty soon I realised how awesome it is. Woo.

I saw the movie before I read the book, so when I read the ending I was like 'Oh. That's kind of.. boring.' I guess, in terms of the movie, the ending makes it seem really well-rounded and brings it to a definitive finish, whereas the book leaves it open for more xD
One day, when I am even more eccentric and have buckets of cash to burn.. I will make "The Vampire Lestat" into a movie. And Lestat will have a French accent *determined face*

I've red only the first two books.. started Wueen of the damned but got SO BORED all of a sudden (Vampire Overdose =\ ).. but I'll read all 11 books..some day...hopefully x)

Hoooo....*shivers* Yeah that would rather terrifying to be honest. I loved Nicki as a character - but so tragic. The way he just so suddenly went off the rails went like was awful.
David...I loved how sharply intelligent he was. I loved his debates and conversations with Lestat, before David became a vampire. I can never quite put my finger on it, but I loved how fascinating their exchanges were.

I never quite understood what tipped Nicki over the edge... maybe Lestat not showering him with affection anymore? Although he always did seem.. volatile
