Oooh deary me.This had better amuse someone half as much as it amused me to draw it, becuz it was a complete waste of my time lol
You know, there are so many oppurtunities to mock these characters and yet there just isn't enough crack VC art out there (as far as I know)...
so draw more, people! Please! It does entertain me so.

p.s. this contains the first joke I've made about the Lestat musical. There will be more. Elton John was really just asking for it.

That made me laugh. It's so true too! My favorite panels are Claudia and Armand, especially when Claudia says, "I'm 40."
There's a musical!? Is it any good? I kind of want to see it out of morbid curiosity.

Hahah that's exactly why I watched it!! It was written by Elton John.. so as soon as I heard that I was like *groan*.. and.. it's alright... certainly not great though. I watched it on google video - most shocking qaulity EVER, but I still managed to sit there for the whole 3 hours >_>
The duets between Louis and Lestat were luverly (very camp, obviously) and Armand was pretty awesome.
Watch it if you feel like being a little bit horrified xD

I did watched it on google video yesterday. I was disappointed they cut out Those Who Must Be Kept, but it was nice to see Gabrielle and Nikki onstage. (None of that "girl with the violin" crap like in the QoD movie.)
I was half-expecting everyone to wear goofy glasses since it was written by Elton John.
The version I watched was a little over 2 hours long though, not 3 hours. Maybe there are different versions?

The only thing QotD had going for it was the fact that at least Stuard Townsend attempted a French accent - whereas Tom Cruise was all Americano.

They're good.. but they're even better in retrospect lol... becuz at the time u read it u get so caught up in the deep, emotional reasons the characters do what they do..
And then later when you're mulling it all over you can't help but think: "Jeez, Lestat, that was incredibly stupid of you. No matter how eloquently you put it, you're an idiot."

Lestat's a very complex character. However, the book and movie are from Louis's point of view, and he saw Lestat as a domineering sociopathic a**hole. They should have done The Vampire Lestat (accurately)....That would have added so much to his character.
They need to do accurate versions of all the books, dammit!!!
