You captured their expressions so well here~ Subtle but perfect! That's interesting, I've never heard about working down from the eyebrows but I'll try that next time haha. I love this

In this one I experimented with a lot of brushes. It was fun and insightful.
Facial expressions, I normally start with the eyes/eyebrows, and then work down and out for the rest. A lot of emotions can be betrayed through ones eyes, and I find that is the easiest place to start when determining how the rest of the face will work.

I usually start with eyes/eyebrows and work my way down also. Beauty marks are usually done in the progress. And I agree, eyes are really hard to do correctly, but with practice, it works.
