A panorama from the Skyline in Jasper NP. We did a 24 km day hike from our backcountry camp to this place. It's a bit of trail as we walked along a ridge to get to this place to have lunch and enjoy the massive view. The clouds behind us - the image is warped so you see so it looks like they are left-in front - had us worried a bit but they stayed where they were for a while and only moved over after we had gotten down again.

Anyways, this is the kind of landscape I adore. It has everything from characteristic mountains, soft colours from oranges to green, patchy lakes and a lot of dynamic in general. Add the clouds and it's perfect.

They released a new album last year after 20 years...and it's also the best new release I have listened to in years.
