What a hike... Here we were starting to make our way down from Observation Mountain. We hiked all the way to the peak, which is behind me. There is no trail (as you can see) and the peak is approximately 11 km and 1300 m of elevation gain (one way) from where our backcountry camp was. Yes it was strenuous but you just can't replicate this experience - being in the wilderness, no people around but two of my best friends (seen in the picture) and this massive landscape all around. It's give you an indescribable feel of freedom and amazement.

Glücklicherweise haben wir heute die Möglichkeit, die unbestrittenen Vorteile der Zivilisation mit dem Erlebnis dieser traumhaft schönen Naturlandschaften zu verbinden und ein bischen von dem in unser Leben einzubauen, aus dem wir eigentlich kommen.

Haha yeah. Although this is honestly the best part. Not that steep and mostly meadows with some debris sections. The other sections are worse in this regard.^^
