Extensive heather fields seen from the top of the Wilseder Berg, a mountain second to none. The highest mountain in the Lüneburg Heath. A mountain so magnificently small it can hardly be called a mountain. It's 169,2 m high. The next higher peak is 95 km away with 173,3 m. Welcome to the North German Plain. At least we don't have any landfills within the top 10 of highest peaks like the Netherlands.
