Description
An Owl from a Nat Geo magazine I painted in clas a couple of months ago, I'll probably finish and edit it some time, but I kinda like the unfinished look. Those stupid brows need definite reworking, though.Related content

fantastic, I love the slightly illustrative patterned effect of the feathers on the right side of the face. I don't know if it was intentional but it looks like an amalgamation of two different styles, and it works well... I really like it!

Thank you~ It was actually done initially 'cause I wasn't keen on those feathers looking more like down, than feathers. Then I started to like the look I was getting even if it wasn't something I normally drew, so I stuck by it. So I guess it was half-intentional. XD
You have stunning artwork, might I add.

Those half-intentional occurences are sometimes the best ones

Aw thanks~ I actually only detailed the base on the left, so I should probably redo the base layer beneath those feathers on the right. Dx By the way, your artwork's quite lovely~

But that creates effect of depth, so in my point of view it is good as it is. And thank you ^^
