Well this was a pain to make even though I did have fun. Rotten from Dark souls II. One of the most interesting bosses in my humble opinion. What Dark souls stuff should I do next?

Well, taking into account your somewhat morbid style, I think either Nashandra, Manus, or perhaps even a Titanite Demon would make for an excellent followup to this.

The piece itself is great by the way a neat departure from how he appears in game, he looks a little more necromorph-esque with the kind of flayed, decaying flesh and limbs jutting out at uncomfortable angles. I also found the backdrop you gave it infinitely better than the room it actually appears in, even if it's more or less negative space. It really helps accentuate the kind of tormented tone the character seemed to be going for.

A beautiful work of. Before the patch that weapon the butchers knife dominated all weapons out in PvP , this is my favorite boss.

Interesting fact: Although there are two undead that seem to function as eyes for the mass that is The Rotten, the undead on its left shoulder telegraphs all of its moves.
This is a very well done piece of art, and Dark Souls is definitely a good place to go for making dark fantasy fanart/gaining inspiration to draw such. Perhaps your next piece should be a modified undead. (those enemies that look like they were once human, but now look like a messed up hybrid of man an dragon)

man!! that boss was a pain, I lost alot of humanity effigy to get help but it's no use until I snapped and managed to defeat him. so what's the Dark Souls art you should do?.........undead dragon for sure
