Description
Ari and Dovah traveled deep into the misty forest. It must have been midnight, as the full moon sat high in the sky. Even with it's presence it was oddly dark, and the fog thickened around them. *snap* the gentle sound of a twig breaking caught both the attention of tokota and rider. Ari dismounted off of Dovah's back and unhinged the glowing wizard staff. Just then Ari heard a low growl from Dovah, he was facing something behind them. She turned around, and lifted the lit staff only to see the large frame of a dire tokota staring right back at them. "Well, at least it isn't a grizzly" Ari whispered to Dovah. Just then the dire tokota took off running into the mist. Ari happened to catch a glimpse of shadow marking in it's side as it left. "That must be Oogie," Ari thought to herself. Dovah walked up to Ari's side, " Good job boy, I think its time we head home. Happy Tokoween Dovah," she said as she pet the large males mane. Dovah lifted his head high and let out a long erie howl. Somewhere off in the distance, a deeper darker howl answered his call.
