Semi-realism drawing of a snowleopard I did a while back in oekaki. Wanted to try something different, so instead of making it entirely in realism, I did the line-art first (was working in solids with a lower opacity for most of the time though, because I forgot to change the settings to watercolors ^^" ). Not really happy with the ugly background, but I like the snowleopard (because they are cute!). =3Different references used for the fur patterns and the anatomy.

I don't remember seeing this one on OC but it's a great drawing! The leopard's face is so wonderfully expressive and it looks like quite an adorable animal, really ='D
The bg is fine; it places the animal in a setting but doesn't draw attention away from it.
Wow, I can never believe how good you are with facial expressions though; this one's amazing ^______^

I think he/she is done nearly perfectly. I love the face and the eyes are done great. I think if the background had too much detail it would take away from the entire picture and the great fur on the leopard itself. Great picture.
