Despite how questionable this looks, I have to tell everyone that this is completely innocent. It's also a MAJOR work in progress...

This is Maven and Cio, though you can't really tell as it is. Cio's very, very childlike in his mindset at times, due to his repression. He's oblivious to most things, and peoples' personal space. Maven dotes on Cio like a child, his adoration bordering on obsession, for the redhead. So, when Cio is disturbed by the faintest hint of a memory, or a nightmare, guess who he goes to for comfort and protection, no matter what hour? Yes, that's right, Maven.

Here, Cio's probably had a nightmare that subconsciously reminded him of the night he killed his son, the one traumatic thing that caused him to lose his sanity in the first place. Horrified, and scared, he winds up sneaking into Maven's room and seeking comfort from the priest. Mind you, Cio's actually older than Maven is, so it's a strange scenario... This, and Maven has feelings for Cio (yes, this -does- relate to man/man, get over it). Later on, even after Cio has regained his sanity, he'll repeat this action, because Maven is a source of definite safety and comfort, and vise versa for the priest.

Yes, in the end, they do wind up together. Yes, that does mean their gay. No, I don't really care if it bothers you. You don't have to read this if you don't want to, nor do you have to look at the image. No one's forcing you. But I do apologize for any accidental offense.
