I think it's fine! though if ya wanna make a new version, totally cool! I kinda have a habit of re-drawing or re-editing artwork myself but I'm trying to stop.

It keeps me from creating new things if I'm constantly worrying about something I've made in the past. Nowadays, I'm trying to leave things up as they are. Make mistakes? it's okay! Use past artworks to learn from yourself and see what you can do better the next time.

I've never done it before, so I hope that it'll be somewhat more updated XD

i like that mindset, though I sort of want to do the redraw to see how far I've come since then. And sort of five the fan art more of my feel to it. You know, make it not so accurate and make it so it has a sense of my own art style in it

I mean it's awesome and a great skill to be able to mimic other styles. Some clients actually commission artists to do that and it's a valuable skill - I want to get better at it myself (though I have yet to try it lol) but I always love artists that do fan art in THEIR styles and do it their way. I think it adds a little flare to the art

Yea...that was one of the many mistakes in this pic...I was looking at my Slingshot refs and I totally messed up the shading and highlights. I was so freakin' tired by the time I finished this pic that I didn't care...I will probably fix it up later...when I have had a few more cups of coffee...

HECK YEA! GO SLINGSHOT!

Generally, the light source is often just above the characters, but it'd give Slingshot a very ominous and badass feeling if you made the crackling energy his primary light source. ^^

WHY YES. YES I DO. Badass Biker Jinmay from the Hills Have Five has always been a personal one-shot favourite of mine. Or maybe... if you're feeling cuddly, the Alchemist with the monkies waaay back when they weren't cybernetic. I've been meaning to do that myself but I've not had the drive to draw lately.
Or, you know Mummy Mandarin from the Sixth Monkey is my favourite character design of his. Maybe some ass-kicking poses with him and some of the characters?

Hmm...I like to draw people, robots, robotic monkeys, and awesome fight scenes. And funny randomness. Favorite characters...SK and Otto, oh and Antauri...and formless...and the robots...

I should try my hand at the Alchemist...and Mummy Mandarin...I'll think of something...

Mine too. I thought his backstory was one of the more interesting ones. Kinda reminded me of Genos from One-Punch Man, except a lot more greedy and Gentleman-like (Genos is the best comparison I can think of for someone becoming a full-body cyborg willingly for enhancement). Not to mention loved the whole Steampunk look of his cybernetic body.
