Usually full of smiles and cheery, she brings little rays of sunshine into the lives of everyone she meets, whether they need it or not. She doesn't talk much, but more so in respect to those around her than a sign of shy behavior. She knows not everyone likes to shoot the breeze. She has a sort of positive outlook on her life, enjoying the little things she has. She greets all with a charming grin and a sweet hello, though at times it can seem a bit guarded. Especially around newer people.

Though, there is a sort of darker side underneath all that cute. When angered or cornered or treated the wrong way, she will lash out. And not in a wild erratic way; she is cold and calculated, and definitely out to scare you...or out for your blood. Depends on what you did to set her off. But this side of her is rare, and barely anyone knows of it. Only her closest friends and people she considers "family" know of it, and what causes her to do it. Most things, though, she lets slide, not allowing too much to bother her. She works in a club, so she knows that most people will act like idiots because their drunk or up on something.

• Brief Biography

Chevelle lives by herself in the better part of Junction City, away from the slummy part of town. She works multiple jobs in order to maintain a steady income in order to pay for the apartment bills and her hobbies, barely having any free time for herself. As well as getting little to no sleep. Which doesn't bother her too much; she enjoys keeping busy. Though, she always loves having a day or two off to let off some stress by doing some things she loves, like dancing or painting.

She keeps a loose loop of close friends, tending to keep mostly away from the bigger crowds. Though, occasionally she loves to go out clubbing or partying or even socializing, but nothing too extreme. No matter how much she likes being alone though, she can't help but intermingle and chat with others. It also doesn't help that her warm and friendly nature just draws people in.

Chevelle grew up in a seemingly functional family. She had two loving parents, and a nice place to call home. Her mother was a nurse at the hospital, where she had occasionally brought Chevelle when there was no babysitter to look after her. She loved being there, especially when it came to her mother teaching her about the humans and how their bodies functioned differently than theirs. Her father was always away on "business" trips about the city, saying that he was expanding his little shop of trades. Though, he always had time for his little girl, bringing home trinkets and small pocket knives for her after a long day out. He also gave her some hand-to-hand combat training, "just in case you have to protect mommy," he had told her. He never told her or his wife of his dark ties with the underground, and how he was pretty high up on the police hit list. He had quite the reputation in the black market, and raked in a lot of money. This money he used to help Chevelle get well along in life.

It was only when Chevelle was a young teen did she stumble in on a meeting and found out of her father's true job. He had been furious with her, but more so out of fear than anger. The people he was meeting with were very VERY dangerous. And now they knew he had family. He pleaded with Chevelle never to tell her mother, frightened that she may leave him. Chevelle kept up on that promise, though she has regrets about never telling her.

Chevelle slowly was integrated into her father's criminal activities, but backed out of them when she turned 20. She had seen what her father had become and couldn't bear seeing it anymore. She never got over being lied to her entire life, that the family she thought she had was all a cover up, and just working with him seemed off and not right. Plus the jobs he had her do were something she never wanted to talk about or experience again. More than once had she had to be thrown into a situation she wasn't ever comfortable with. And the the people she met along the way were never to be trusted. All shady and deadly. So, she decided to get a different job as a waitress and move away. Her mother was heartbroken, as well as her father, but she couldn't handle the lies anymore. A few years later her mother had died in an accident and her father had vanished. No one knows of his whereabouts, or if he's even alive. Some say he was killed off, others say he joined up with a cult or a more darker side of the underground.

Despite all that had happened to her, Chevelle blossomed. She always had been a bubbly, cheerful, and positive person. The past wasn't going to change that. When the bad thoughts ever came she turned to the arts and running. Though, those criminal and extra activities did give her some awesome perks. She can definitely put on a show when preparing drinks, which she's pretty renowned for, while turning around to kick someone's ass. She wishes to settle down and have a family, but not anytime soon.
