So, here's a little story behind this painting. Back when I was completing my genocide run of Undertale, I had gotten hyped up with some Gaster related spoilers I ran into. I thought, somehow, at the end of the game Chara would be trapped in a universe with only themself and Gaster. But, unfortunately that didn't happen. At least, not verbatim. So, this is my headcanon. I think its pretty fitting. I mean, Chara needs some sort of motivation in bargaining with you for your soul. Wouldn't they have been happiest if the universe remained barren and empty? Unless... they weren't alone.
This took around 8 hours in photoshop CS6, 46 layers. One of my longer paintings in recent times, but I'm really starting to get back into the swing of things!

Really nice work on the lights and details, me likes.
Also, interesting idea with Gaster being this sort-of ghost-like creature that appears to be hollow inside (or at least the bottom of his torso). And a universe with only Gaster and Chara in it... seems like an eternal purgatory for Chara.
