I'm working on this little digital drawing of Daenerys Targaryen aka Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) from Game of Thrones, I've been wanting to draw her for a long time because she's just so pretty <3 I still have a lot of work to do with this one..Edit: Did some more work on the face, worked it out a little more, better shading etc.
Edit: Defined the face even more and smoothed it out, also started on the hair.. though that looks like shit, did a color adjustment too.
Edit: FINALLYYYYYY decided to "finish" the piece, added a subtle background and did the shoulder as well as a small adjustment on the hair.

this picture beats all of your current works. Make more god like pictures. It's mostly cause it seems time was well spent on the face. Also if I ignore the random grey lines in her hair I can see it like a picture.

Thanks, it's a realistic style and that's not something i go for often (because i don't find it to be satisfying or interesting) but i am still very happy about how the face came out though i must admit it was a bit of a lucky shot with the skin, it just came out good. I hate what i did with the hair so i might re-paint the hair at some point. Thanks!

Really nice drawing of Daenerys. Β I love the way you managed to pull off her hair, in actuality it is so light so it's great how you were able to get so much detail into it. Β You really did the cheekbones quite nicely, as well.Β

Yeah I really like focusing on bringing cheekbones out, i don't know why but i just think it's a really beautiful face feature.

It's funny how everyone says the hair looks good but I think it doesn't..

I think this drawing looks beautiful- and the hair looks far from 'shit'. I know for a fact that braid-work is incredibly hard and I have to commend you on doing such a great job- the tonal quality in her face is well rounded and I actually really love the hair! But even unfinished I could tel even from the thumbnail that it was Daenerys XD So congratulations on a great job!

Haha, yeah- especially the central part of the hair that you've done the most work on. Sure- the top and bottom part of her hair still needs more work, but I think you've gotten a great start. But I mean, if you look at it from afar, it looks gorgeous. But good luck on the hair anyway- and I cannot wait to see the finished product!
