about the double pages it's simple
I scaned both and then opened photoshop, multiplied the width by 2 open anew page with the same hight but double the width and then stick them together in the same page

Umh... I tried to do it, but seems your explanation is a bit too simplifiezed. I managed to multiply the widh, but there is no such option as ,,joining two pictures", only joining two layers of the same picture.

Could you plaese give me a step-by-step instruction on this? I'm sorry to ask, but I'm barely learning to use photoshop and it's rather nothing easy for me. So, pretty please ^_^
