Description
I drew this picture for Mew for her birthday; she has the original, but before I sent it off, I made a copy. I finally found the time, desire, and appropriate tutorial to retrace and colour it. It now takes residence in the front of my English binder where I can look at its cuteness everyday
The scan made the color a bit light... so be sure to full view to see it better!
For Mew again, since it is her gift... only in color!

How about you hop on in a package and see moi? We could have awesome Pokemon figure battles, and throw plush at one another, and play random Pokemon games, and and and sled with my giant Pikachu down the stairs. IT'D BE AMAZING.

I can't shade either, but I looked over a few tutorials and they helped a lot. Thank goodness Mew has a fairly easy body shape to take a shot in the dark at shading.
I keep getting different ideas for what to draw you... maybe I'll bring some reference pics with me tomorrow and I'll sketch on the plane

I'm not a fan of pink either (or orange for that matter...), but it's one of my favorite colors to work with when shading. I'm not sure why, but it always seems to work out alright

Orange is cool... It's not as creepy as yellow, but not as violent as red. Very good. ^_^

Thank you! It was a pain getting the head correct and I really messed up the eyes (the far one is driving me insane!), but I'm quite content on the final product. Maybe I can attempt a Lucario sometime?
