Okay seriously, I developed SO much respect for everyone who who constantly draw their own mangas or comics. Pls tell me your secrets, cause this one pager took me almost 3 days! 3 days for one freaking page!
Ok it's my first ever digital Manga page with screen tones and such, so I guess with practice I get quicker, but still!

Story:
It was the first time Kirigakure got invited to attend the Chunin exams, hosted by Konohagakure. Kiri wasn't allowed to take part before because of their last Mizukage, who brought nothing but doom towards his country. After Mei Terumii became the next Mizukage, she rebuilt the village again. When they got invited for the Chunin exams, she declined, because it was still too early for the village since they weren't done with rebuilding everything.

A team was sent out to deliver the scroll with the Mizukage's declination to attend the exams. The team consisted of Genji Terumii who is the Mizukage's younger brother, Taro Arashi (later Shizoku) and Hinami Inoue They reached the gate of Konoha, when they passed Rei and his team, who were on their way to their usual training ground. Rei immediately noticed the 3 strangers wearing quite dark clothes with uncommon patterns on it. Then he recognized the hitai ate with the Kirigakure symbol on it. It's the first time he saw shinobis from village hidden in the mist. To him it was slightly suspicious. //What are they doing here? What do they want?// He looked at each of them carefully but when he studied the girl, he got stuck. He got stuck with these bright orange-yellow-ish eyes she had. It was when she looked back at him, when Rei lost himself in these big golden eyes for a second. Sure, Satoro also had golden eyes, but these were different. Bigger. Brighter. More fascinating. Maybe it helped that she wore these dark clothes, which made her eyes stand out even more.
He didn't realize that he stared at her for several seconds, when Miharu suddenly pulled his arm. "Nee..Rei-kun! Hurry now, we wanted to head to the training ground, remember?" Still feeling a bit absent, he nodded and let his eyes wander to the unfamilliar girl one last time. Her eyes were still on him as well. She watched him with this indefineable glint in the eyes, which made Rei wonder what could go through her mind in this moment. He then got dragged away by his teammates. //They clearly had no fear to be seen, otherwise they would have been more careful..//
When Rei looked over his shoulder, he saw how Konoha's guards happily welcomed them, so their intentions must be good. This shouldn't be the last time Rei should see the girl with the bright golden eyes.

Note:
Team Kiri is older than Team 2 (Rei etc.). To be more precise, Taro is 3 years, Genji 2 years and Hinami is almost one year older than the Konoha team. Why is there such an age difference in team Kiri? Because Taro graduated a year later and Hinami a year earlier than usual. You can read more about in on their reference.

What do you think? :> Rei and Hinami 'meeting' or more sharing eye contact for the very first time. This definitely won't be the last time though After 3 days of work, I was too lazy to draw Konoha, so I used some forest screentones instead :'D
