my new character who's gonna be in my next story (of sweetened weekdays)but this picture is from the visual novel i'm testing out. i felt like posting it... because i wanted to! xD

Yep. Renpy is awesome <3 I'm working on a story not related to a comic I've started. Sometimes comipo doesn't feel like enough for the images, but I'm finding a way. This story is so awkward though. Must...Code...More...-flails-

the way i did it in comipo wasn't in smoke breath tho lol!
it's in "water & tear"
i added the nightsky background made it transparent as well as the water and made the panel itself black instead of the usual white.

Ah! In the english version of Comipo, one of the layers in your picture is in the "Breath and Smoke" category, that's why I thought it was a smoke layer. Either way, it looks really good! You're leaving the rest of us behind! Figuring out all of those cool little tricks with Comipo!

ohhh i think i know what you're saying about the breath smoke layer. it does look like it came from there because i made it 100% white, 7 transparency, and 3 blur. the object is "Reflection_05" from "Water & Tear."

Me too! I actually sometimes use Photoshop to edit my Comipo images... I'm hoping that Comipo makes a filter for skin color someday, that'll make things much easier. As it stands, several of my characters are not the correct color...

Agreed. I think that there might be legal issues going on in Japan right now, I mean, my favorite manga (D.Gray-man) is on hiatus because of the mangaka's injury and also because she's having issues with her publishers... And considering the amount of updates that Comipo used to do, it just seems strange for them to have slacked off so much... I get that working for 3+ countries can get hectic (they are catering to Japan, English-speaking countries, and Korea) but I would guess that they could hire the proper amount of people to keep things running smoothly... I kinda really want the "year of the snake" and "new years dragon" model sets... But those are only in Japanese at the moment...
