Description
With the light only revealing so little of the actual environment, I felt that there was a mystery to this image when I was shooting. I'd hoped to created the feeling of mystery by only letting the light reveal so little to leave the question "What could be in the darkness around this?"Related content

In the night, dark as pitch.
You cannot see, what a b*tch.
A light in the distance dawns you in.
A solitary beacon through the din.
As you approach the world is revealed.
The unseen is seen and the- holy sh*t a tree! *Crash*
Lame jokes and even lamer poetry aside, it's interesting how the tree draws all the light to it, fading anything else that might have been in the immediate image into dark. At first I thought it was the moon, then I though, why would the moon be in a tree? I can sorta see something in the background, though that may be another tree

^^ Yeah, it's kind of cool how that happened. Mostly, I think I got lucky with it.
