I wanted to try something different this time. I barely ever draw detailed backgrounds, but now I just thought; why not go on a relaxing vacation with my pen and own imagination? When I read there was a Warm Vibes themed competition going on hosted by DA staff, I got all the more inspired.

I am proud of this piece. I poured my heart into it, as well as a lot of my time, too.n

That's why I hope this won't be my last picture for a while with a good background. I want to try doing these even more, but it really depends on what kind of a reception this gets.
