...I'll be honest. At first, I was shocked by the thumbnail alone, but then I quickly calmed down and believed this was only Classic Daffy making fun of Underdog Daffy. Of course, like in many studios, the team members have had their ups and downs (reportedly Jones and Clampett), which may be the context behind this image.

Chuck Jones is a great master of animation.
But... I have to say, when it comesΒ for his Daffy, isΒ like a abused relationship.

I think it's more to do with the fact that Chuck Jones turned Daffy from being an insane, crazy character to one that was more bitter and jealous of Bugs.Β Presumably because Daffy was their big star before Bugs walked onto the scene.Β I frankly like both interpretations of Daffy, and I really like how they've recently mixed the arrogant, bitter Daffy with the wacky 40's Daffy.
And for that matter, I never really got the Donald being jealous of Mickey thing to be honest.Β Mainly because Donald's cartoons were more popular than Mickey's, and overall Donald indeed is the more popular character.
