C4D seems to be pretty popular. As you've only just started using it, however, I invite you to try my 3d modeller of choice before you settle down on C4D.

Yeah it's suposed to be choppy because that surface is slightly bumped.

I love it, but yeah like adam said reflection it a bit choppy, but it is still good.

-P.S. can you give me a link to 30 day trial of cinema 4d or somthing like that? It would be appreciated, I want to try out c4d's

The reflection is a little choppy, not sure if you noticed that or not... other than that, it looks great.
