I had a grey tiger who could climb up... but about six feet up he'd look down and freeze - to the point I'd have to work his lil' clawsies from the wood He loved to escape into the sun, so his love of climbing combined with his fear of heights probably stopped him from becoming roadkill.

Lived 18 years, a good friend and always a lot of fun.

I'm sorry for your loss.
  My cat Rambo is 17 years old now...I can not imagine losing him.  I know many people think "its just a cat" but he is a part of my family.  He's my best friend since I was 11.
 Cats are always a lot of fun and a great companion

Yes they are.  My catpig Her Royal Stubbiness, Queen Stubby the First, Last, One and Only Ruler of the Stubbiverse and Filler of the Holy LitterBox is going to be 16 in June, I got her from a no-kill when she was 9.  I'm hoping she'll live until at least 18 like Och did or 20 like 2 of Och's brothers did.

She's a good Queen though, mostly because she realizes I'm her only servant.

Yes, they are.  I have never met one that wasn't crazy and full of life.  If you ever get bored, read all the comments and responses under this picture of her my cat - the crap factory   Everyone likes fuzzbutts, I think.
