MGS1/Twin Snakes Solid Snake cosplay as it is now. I may remake the vest, and I need to do some detailing on the boots and gloves. I'm also unhappy with the elbow/knee pads, they seem more bulbous than I'd like. I might just buy a new set.Related content

Made it. Started with a navy tee shirt. Cut the sleeves at an angle, and glued foam to the inside to give it some structure and rigidity. The details of the front, the collar, and the shoulder straps are foam covered in fabric from another navy tee shirt, with small nylon straps and parachute/side-release buckles (the kind you find on backpacks or on helmet straps).
